The Turkish-born creative re-interprets nature's organic forms in contemporary minimal language in unglazed porcelain. The unique artistic palette draws on the multi-layered cultural heritage of the designer's home town Istanbul, as well as a lifetime of distilled knowledge accumulated over many years during an earlier career as a foreign correspondent working and living in Russia, Central Asia, East Africa, Turkey and Switzerland.
